Off until you choose
Use the checkbox in the Skills footer to enable or stop these counters. Your browser stores only this preference, not a visitor identifier. Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track keep counting off even if a saved preference says on.
What the counters contain
We count page openings, successful command-copy actions, broad search topics and result ranges, agent and category filters, source-link clicks and clicks to our Tools, Apps, Guides and Shop sections. Search text is mapped to a fixed topic in your browser; the text itself is not sent to this counter endpoint. The counter request omits cookies and the referring URL. An opening or copied command is not proof of an installation or sale.
Storage and access
Daily totals are stored on AI Craft Pad, without individual event histories, IP addresses, browser fingerprints, referrers or visitor IDs in the aggregate table. Administrators can inspect the totals. QA counters are separate from live observations. Reports use up to 35 UTC days; daily WordPress cleanup and cleanup on recording or reporting remove older aggregates. Limits on accepted events and rows can make the opt-in sample incomplete.
Scope and controls
These settings apply to the Skills counters. Normal hosting access logs and other website services have their own behavior; see the site Privacy Policy. Turning counting off stops future counter requests from this page and clears queued events. Earlier anonymous daily totals cannot be tied back to a particular visitor. Search, filters, source links and installation commands remain available with counting off.
