REA can attach to a user-owned Chrome-family browser through a loopback CDP endpoint and collect bounded evidence about an existing page. Use a dedicated profile, select the exact target and origin, and request only the text, script or storage metadata the investigation needs. Passive capture is not general browser automation and does not prove activity that occurred before attachment.
Define the observation boundary
Start a separate browser profile with its debugging endpoint bound to loopback. List targets, select the intended page and narrow the allowed origin when needed. REA does not launch, navigate or close the browser, so the operator owns the profile and its lifecycle.
Interpret bounded evidence
DOM structure, accessibility data, scripts, resources and attach-window events have different privacy and completeness tradeoffs. Enable optional text or source capture only when necessary. Record the target, observation window, selected fields and reported coverage before using the result in a conclusion.
